Anaheim Ducks vs Tampa Bay Lightning Betting Pick
Anaheim Ducks vs Tampa Bay Lightning Betting Pick 11/21/15 – The road trip continues for Anaheim, I wonder how those stuarists are treating them AKA traveling whores. Hopefully taking care of the team for a big game in the south. Frederik Andersen broke a personal three game losing streak, in which he allowed 11 goals, but coming up with 23 saves in their 3-1 win over Florida on Thursday night. The 3-1 win doesn’t say much for this Ducks squad but they stayed in the south and should be ready to rock Saturday night
Anaheim is still a team that has many scoring issues this year as they are ranked 29th in the league, potting just 1.8 goals per game, while also ranking 24th on the power play. On defense the Ducks come in ranked 11th in goals allowed, giving up just 2.4 goals per game, while ranking first in penalty kill. Despite their offensive woes I truly believe Bruce is holding the offense back to save their stamina down the stretch of the season. On defense these Ducks are stealth.
Seems like every season the Lightning play great, have a deep playoff run then fire their head coach. Could we see the same scenario during or after this season. Because they are playing like straight Flyers trash. It’s so bad in Tampa they have won just three of their previous twelve games before Thursday night’s battle with the Rangers. They played OK knocking the Rags off 2-1 but the Rangers have been so pucking good they were due for a loss.
This was a much-needed win for Tampa Bay, especially from a confidence builder as they did knock off the hottest team in the league. Getting the win in-goal was Ben Bishop, who is now 7-9 with a 2.18 goals against average thus far into the season. Bishop has now allowed two goals in seven of his last eight starts, which is not really much for concern. He’s a great goaltender and the only reason the Bolts are not bottom feeders.
NHL Starting Goalies
Anaheim Ducks – Frederik Anderson
Andersen stopped 24 of 25 shots in the Ducks win in Florida on Thursday. Their Florida trip continues tonight in Tampa Bay where they’ll play a banged up Lightning team. Andersen has gone 4-1-2 with a 2.75 GAA and .907 SV% in November, but has struggled to a 1-5-1 road record this season.
Tampa Bay Lightning – Ben Bishop
Bishop allowed one goal on 21 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Rangers on Thursday. It was an impressive win for a shorthanded Lightning team, that will face the Ducks tonight at home. Bishop comes into play at 2-2-1 in November and 4-3-1 with a 2.24 GAA and .925 SV% on home ice.

Anaheim Ducks vs Tampa Bay Lightning Betting Pick 11/21/15
Let’s face the facts here, the Ducks are struggling on offense now and the Lightning need this win at home in front of their home crowd. The Ducks got lucky the other night defeating the Panthers but they will not skate off with a win in Tampa tonight. The odds are a bit high but worth the money.
Tampa Bay Lightning -140 ($1,000)
