Arizona Coyotes vs Carolina Hurricanes Hockey Prediction 3-3-17
It’s been obvious for months now that the Arizona Coyotes have been in rebuild mode. Strangely enough, they allowed Shane Doan to conduct his future in Arizona and he did just that. By not waiving his no trade clause which has ultimately hurt the Coyotes in future draft picks.
Something else the Coyotes will be dealing with is the lack of support from the head of the NHL on a hit that sent Alexander Burmistrov off the ice on a stretcher. At least that’s what the fans are saying. It was a clean hit all the way.
Carolina would like to prove they are more than just a team that is competitive just enough to give teams a run for the money. To do that the Hurricanes will definitely need to beat the weaker teams in the league, but they will also have to start to pick up the wins against the better teams in the league. They are a solid home-ice team but have been so bad lately they couldn’t hold off the lowly Lightning in OT, losing 4-3.
NHL Starting Goalies Tonight
Louis Domingue is expected to start between the iron tonight. He is 6-14-1 with a 3.26 goals against average and a .897 save percentage.
Cam Ward should start tonight. He is 21-19-8 with a .905 save percentage and supporting 2.54 goals against average.
Free NHL Betting Pick: Arizona Coyotes
The Hurricanes are on home ice and as mentioned above, a solid home team. But, the Coyotes are the better team overall and should be playing with a chip on their shoulder in this one. Arizona will clip the Hurricanes 4-3 tonight.
