On the defensive side of the ice Dallas checks in 13th in goals allowed, giving up 2.6 goals per game, while ranking 15th on penalty kill at 80.0%. When you have two inconsistent goaltenders, your defense will tend to blow. This is an area many fans are overlooking with this Dallas squad.
