If Saturday night’s match-up with the Toronto Maple Leafs didn’t prove the Canadiens need a tough guy, then I don’t know what will.
Apparently, and take this with a grain of salt, the Canadiens have been in touch with Minnesota Wild’s “tough” guy Matt Kassian.
Kassian has yet to play for the Wild this season which is interesting because they completely over looked his presence on the ice and went after Rangers tough guy, Mike Rupp. Maybe there’s something we don’t know about Kassian that the Wild do know.
Regardless, the Canadiens need a tough guy in their lineup.
IF the Habs traded for Kassian he would barely play more then 5 minutes a game and most likely play on the fourth line. He would be a good body to throw out onto the ice if a game is getting out of control, for example: Saturday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
I mean after-all, this is the French Frog Dwarfs we are talking about here…..
